We work to source our fresh herbs, fruit and vegetables from carefully selected Kenyan growers and suppliers, taking advantage of Kenya's established fresh-produce growing regions.
Our range includes basil, mint, thyme, oregano, chives and premium Kenyan avocados, with plans to expand our produce selection as Kenova Fresh grows.
02 — Carefully Harvested
Freshness begins at harvest.
Produce is harvested with attention to quality, maturity and freshness before being prepared for packing.
For delicate herbs in particular, careful harvesting and post-harvest handling are important to preserving appearance, aroma and quality.
03 — Selected, Graded & Packed
Quality before it leaves Kenya.
Produce is selected, graded and prepared according to the required customer and export specifications.
Fresh herbs can then be packed in appropriate formats ready for their journey to the UK.
04 — Quality & Traceability
Knowing where our produce comes from matters.
Our goal is to maintain clear traceability throughout the supply chain, from the source and harvest through packing, shipment and delivery to our UK customers.
Where required, shipments will be supported by the appropriate export, plant-health and import documentation.
05 — Exported Fresh ✈️
Kenya to the UK.
Once prepared for export, fresh produce is transported for onward shipment to the UK.
For highly perishable products such as fresh herbs, appropriate temperature management and efficient logistics are an important part of maintaining product quality during transit.
Kenyan exporters serving international markets similarly emphasise cold-chain handling from farm to airport.

From arrival to our customers.
Following the applicable UK import and customs procedures, produce enters the UK supply chain for onward distribution.
